Peddi Sudarshan Reddy | Hyderabad, July 31 : TRS Chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha expressed profound grief over the demise of former Narsampet MLA and senior Telangana movement leader Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, describing his death as an irreparable loss to Telangana and the erstwhile Warangal district.
Kavitha said the news of Peddi Sudarshan Reddy’s passing had deeply shocked her. She recalled his invaluable contribution to the Telangana statehood movement and said his dedicated service to the cause would always be remembered.
She prayed for the departed leader’s soul to rest in peace and conveyed her heartfelt condolences to his family members.
Peddi Sudarshan Reddy Remembered for Telangana Movement
Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, a senior BRS leader and former MLA from Narsampet, passed away at 12:51 a.m. on Friday while undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad. He was 52.
According to family sources, he fell seriously ill at his residence in Hanumakonda on July 26 and was initially admitted to Rohini Hospital for emergency treatment. He was later shifted to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad for advanced medical care.
Doctors said he suffered a pulmonary embolism, which led to cardiac arrest. The medical team performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for nearly 45 minutes and successfully restored his heartbeat.
However, his neurological condition remained critical, and despite six days of intensive treatment, he could not recover.
Peddi Sudarshan Reddy played an active role in the Telangana statehood movement and represented the Narsampet Assembly constituency.
His demise has prompted condolences from political leaders across the state, who remembered his commitment to public service and the Telangana cause.
