Hyderabad, August 3 (Maxim News): The Central Milad Procession Committee has finalized plans for the concluding ceremony of the 1500th Milad Celebrations, announcing that a prestigious Milad Award Ceremony will be held on August 8 at the City Convention Centre, Nampally.
The decision was taken during the committee’s meeting held at the Central Khanqah Shuttaria, Dabeerpura.
The meeting was chaired by Moulana Syed Shaikhen Ahmed Qadri Shuttari, President of the Central Milad Procession Committee, while General Secretary Moulana Syed Khadir Mohiuddin Qadri Junaid Pasha Zareen Kullah welcomed the participants.
Prominent Ulema, Mashayekh and committee members attended the meeting and discussed preparations for the observance of 1448 AH and 2026 Milad celebrations.
Committee members reviewed arrangements for the annual Central Milad Procession and shared suggestions to ensure its smooth and peaceful conduct.
It was decided that the traditional procession will be taken out on 12th Rabi ul Awwal after Zuhr prayers from the historic Makkah Masjid, continuing the long standing tradition.
Milad Award Ceremony On August 8
The committee resolved to organize the concluding Milad Award Ceremony on Saturday, August 8, at 1 pm at the City Convention Centre, Nampally, ahead of the commencement of the month of Rabi ul Awwal.
During the ceremony, distinguished personalities from different walks of life will be honoured with the Prestigious Milad Awards in recognition of their contributions to society.
The committee also decided to entrust the responsibility of organizing the concluding ceremony of the 1500th Milad Celebrations to the government.
Several programmes will be conducted before the beginning of the Milad month and throughout the month as part of the celebrations.
Among those present were Convener Moulana Hafiz Muhammad Muzaffar Hussain Khan Banda Nawazi, Joint Convener Moulana Syed Ahmed Al Hussaini Sayeed Qadri, Moulana Syed Mohammad Ali Qadri Al Hashmi Mumshad Pasha, Moulana Dr. Khwaja Shujauddin Ifteqari Haqqani Pasha, Publicity Secretary Moulana Syed Liaquat Hussain Rizvi Mukhtar Pasha, Moulana Syed Ghulam Samdani Ali Qadri, Moulana Mufti Mohammad Anwar Ahmed Qadri, Moulana Syed Nadeemullah Hussaini, Moulana Sheikh Fareeduddin Zahid Chishti Karimi, and other committee members.
