Film Nagar Police Book 12 Over Alleged Attack on Fruit Vendor

Hyderabad, Aug 16 (Maxim News): Film Nagar police have registered a case against 12 persons following an alleged attack on fruit vendor Sheikh Mubarak Ali and his brother Musharaf Ali.

According to police, the incident was linked to an earlier dispute between the two groups. The complainants alleged that the accused approached their shop on August 10 and abused and threatened them.

Dispute between two groups leads to police case

Police said the two groups had previously quarrelled over the same issue on three occasions. The latest incident prompted Mubarak Ali and his brother to approach the police and lodge a complaint.

Based on the complaint, Film Nagar police registered a case against 12 persons, including Mohan Kollapuri and Ashok. Police have launched an investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the alleged attack.

Investigators are also examining the previous disputes between the groups as part of the probe. Further details regarding the charges and any arrests are awaited.
