Hyderabad, August 16 A: Preparations for Milad-Un-Nabi celebrations have gained momentum across Hyderabad, with religious and welfare programmes planned in the coming days.
A blood donation camp was held at Vijayanagar Colony on Sunday. Several people participated and donated blood.
Meanwhile, organisers have planned similar welfare programmes at various locations. These include a camp at Asafia Library in Afzalgunj.
Religious gatherings will also be held at mosques and auditoriums across the city. In addition, preparations are underway for the central Milad procession on August 26.
Milad Un Nabi Procession Route Finalised
The Markazi Milad Juloos Committee is seeking the required permissions and clearances for the procession.
According to committee members, the route will remain the same as last year. The procession will begin after Zohar prayers from Mecca Masjid.
It will pass through Gulzar Houz, Madina Building and Salar Jung Museum. It will then proceed through Darul Shifa, Purani Haveli, Kotla Alijah and Bibi Bazaar.
The procession will conclude near Volta Hotel.
Meanwhile, the AIMIM is preparing for its annual Jalsa Rahmatulil Alameen on the eve of Milad Un Nabi.
Islamic scholars from different sects and schools of thought are expected to attend. They will speak about the life and teachings of Prophet Mohammed.
