Hyderabad, August 31 (Maxim News): TRS chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha broke down in tears during a public meeting in Nizamabad and launched a sharp attack on former BRS minister Prashanth Reddy.
Kavitha accused Prashanth Reddy of creating differences between her and her father, former Telangana chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
She alleged that his actions separated the father and daughter politically and personally.
She compared Prashanth Reddy’s alleged role in Telangana politics with Shakuni’s role in the Mahabharata. Kavitha alleged that Prashanth Reddy had stayed close to her family while working to create differences between them.
She called him a person who had separated her from her father. Kavitha said she might forgive Santosh Rao and Harish Rao, but she would never forgive Prashanth Reddy.
Kavitha also issued a strong political warning to the former minister. She said Prashanth Reddy had no future in public life.
She further warned that she would campaign against him and work to defeat him wherever he contested in the coming elections.
Kavitha Targets Former BRS Leaders
Kavitha also alleged that Prashanth Reddy had tried to join the Congress party. She claimed that some BRS MLAs had earlier worked against her political growth.
However, Kavitha expressed confidence about her political prospects in Nizamabad district.
She said her party would work to win all five Assembly seats in the district in the coming elections.
She also promised to continue raising public issues. Kavitha said she would remain active in political struggles on behalf of the people.
Her remarks at the Nizamabad meeting marked a sharp escalation in her criticism of former BRS leaders.
The allegations against Prashanth Reddy reflect internal political differences that have emerged around Kavitha and her relationship with the BRS leadership.
Kavitha’s comments, including the comparison with Shakuni and her warning about future elections, are political allegations made at the public meeting.
The source material does not include a response from Prashanth Reddy to these allegations.
