Hyderabad, Sept. 25: KLH Aziznagar inaugurated the IEEE International Conference on AI and Security for Industrial IoT Systems on Thursday.
AI-SIIS 2026 will continue until September 26. The three day conference brings together researchers, industry experts, academics and students.
The event focuses on using artificial intelligence to improve security and reliability in connected industrial systems.
A total of 886 research papers were submitted for the conference. Of these, 187 were accepted and 123 were registered for presentation.
More than 100 participants, including speakers and attendees, are expected to attend the three day event.
AI-SIIS 2026 Focuses on Industrial IoT Security
The IEEE Industrial Electronics Society is technically co sponsoring the conference. WE Hub is the knowledge partner.
The programme includes sessions on cybersecurity, intelligent sensors, robotics and the Industrial Internet of Things.
It also covers AI applications in smart healthcare, energy systems, autonomous transport and smart cities.
Environmental monitoring and responsible AI deployment are also part of the conference discussions.
Speakers include Juan José Rodríguez-Andina of the University of Vigo, Spain, and Stamatis Karnouskos of SAP, Germany.
Jan Haase of Nordakademie University of Applied Sciences, Germany, Kavinga Upul Ekanayaka of ACCLER, Sri Lanka, and Preeti Bajaj of the IEEE India Council are also participating.
Ashish Singhal, Chair of the IEEE Student Activities Committee, is among the distinguished speakers.
Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice President of KL Deemed to be University, said the conference would bring global research and industry perspectives to the campus.
He said the event aims to encourage collaboration and inspire students and faculty to develop secure solutions for connected systems.
Dr. Mousmi Ajay Chaurasia is convening the conference under the guidance of Dr. A. Ramakrishna, Principal of KLH Aziznagar.
Faculty and staff are supporting the event.
KLH said international forums such as AI-SIIS 2026 provide students and faculty with opportunities to engage with global experts and pursue interdisciplinary research.
