Hyderabad, Oct. 6 (Maxim News): AIMIM Karwan MLA Kausar Mohiuddin has raised allegations of voter list manipulation in Musheerabad, Goshamahal and other Hyderabad constituencies.
He demanded a thorough investigation into the alleged misuse of Form 7 during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise.
Acting on the instructions of AIMIM president Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi, Kausar Mohiuddin met Telangana Chief Electoral Officer Sudarshan Reddy, IAS. AIMIM Joint Secretary Syed Mustaq also accompanied him.
AIMIM Seeks Probe Into Alleged Voter Name Deletions
Residents from Musheerabad and Goshamahal attended the meeting. They alleged that their family members’ names had been deleted from the electoral rolls.
The delegation presented their grievances to the Chief Electoral Officer. It demanded an impartial investigation and strict action against anyone found responsible for irregularities.

According to the delegation, the Chief Electoral Officer assured them that the allegations would be investigated. He also confirmed that the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) had already been directed to register a case.
Following the meeting, Kausar Mohiuddin and Syed Mustaq met District Election Officer Karnan, IAS. They raised concerns over the alleged wrongful deletion of voters’ names.
The delegation urged the authorities to verify the affected entries immediately. It also called for restoring eligible voters‘ names and fixing accountability for any irregularities.
The delegation stressed that every eligible citizen has the right to vote. It said genuine voters must not lose their voting rights because of alleged malpractice or manipulation.
