Hyderabad, Oct. 11: Saidabad police have arrested a Detective Inspector posted at Khairatabad police station following a woman’s complaint alleging sexual exploitation on the promise of marriage.
According to police, the woman alleged that the inspector, identified as Balaswamy, had been promising to marry her since 2017. She claimed he continued the relationship after her husband’s death, assuring her that he would fulfil the promise.

The complainant reportedly confronted Balaswamy and demanded that he honour his promise of marriage. After he allegedly refused, she approached Saidabad police and lodged a complaint.
Police registered a case and arrested the inspector. He was subsequently remanded, according to the report.
