Mancherial Road Accident | Mancherial, Oct. 11: A head constable was killed on the spot after a lorry hit him on Rajiv Rahadhari early Sunday. The accident occurred between Indaram and Tekumatla villages in Jaipur mandal, Mancherial district.
The deceased was identified as Perka Anji Babu, 33, who worked at the Mancherial Women Police Station. He was a resident of Srirampur.
Police said Anji Babu sustained severe head injuries in the collision. He was waiting for a bus when the lorry hit him.

Sravanthi, the deceased’s wife, lodged a complaint with the police. Officials registered a case and launched an investigation into the accident.
