Hyderabad, Oct. 15: A 19-year-old youth, Sairam, died after allegedly falling ill from food poisoning linked to Mandi biryani served at a restaurant in Narsapur, Medak district. A total of 19 people reportedly fell ill after eating at One Palace.
The affected people developed severe vomiting and diarrhoea and were taken to Narsapur Area Hospital. Sairam’s condition reportedly deteriorated, prompting his transfer to Sangareddy District Hospital for further treatment. He died while undergoing treatment there.
Narsapur Food Poisoning Case Prompts Calls for Action
Eighteen other people are receiving treatment at Narsapur Area Hospital, according to the source report. Sairam’s death has left his family and relatives grieving.
The family is demanding strict action against those responsible. They have also urged authorities to test food samples and investigate the incident.
