Hyderabad: A 21-year-old man died after he was allegedly stabbed during an argument over his mother’s relationship with a man in the Old City’s Hussaini Alam area on Saturday.
The victim, Madhur Singh, had questioned Bhagat Singh, a resident of Puranapul, about his relationship with Madhur’s mother, Manisha Singh, according to reports citing police.
An argument reportedly followed, during which Bhagat allegedly attacked Madhur with a knife. The victim suffered serious injuries to his abdomen and the back of his head.
Madhur was taken to Osmania General Hospital, where he died during treatment. Hussaini Alam police registered a case and took Bhagat into custody for questioning. The investigation is continuing.
