Telangana IAS Transfers | Hyderabad, Oct. 28: The Telangana government has transferred 12 IAS officers and reshuffled key administrative responsibilities across several departments. The changes include new assignments for senior officials, additional charges for serving officers and changes in leadership across urban development, energy, revenue, welfare and health departments.
Telangana IAS Transfers Bring Major Departmental Reshuffle
Vikas Raj, who was Special Chief Secretary of the Transport, Roads and Buildings Department, has been appointed Special Chief Secretary of the Energy Department. Ilambarthiki has been appointed Secretary of Transport, Roads and Buildings while continuing as Secretary of Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries.
Dana Kishore has been relieved of his responsibilities as Special Chief Secretary of Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation. Naveen Mittal has been assigned these responsibilities. Dana Kishore will continue as Special Chief Secretary to the Governor until his retirement on October 31, according to the report.
Shailaja Ramaiyar has been appointed Principal Secretary of the Revenue Department (Endowments). A. Vani Prasad has been given additional charge as Director of Sports and Heritage Telangana, responsibilities previously handled by Jayesh Ranjan.
Rahul Bojja, Principal Secretary of the Revenue (DM) Department, has been given additional charge as Principal Secretary of the Tribal Welfare Department. He will continue to hold the position of Principal Secretary of the BC Welfare Department.
Sarfaraz Ahmed, Metropolitan Commissioner of HMDA, has been assigned additional responsibilities as Special Officer for the Metropolitan Area and Urban Development Department under HMDA. His additional charge also covers the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation.
Shruti Ojha has been appointed Special Secretary of the Women and Child Welfare and SC Welfare Department. Dr. S. Sangeetha Satyanarayana, who was serving as Director of the department, has been appointed Special Secretary in place of Ojha and given charge as Director of the Women and Child Welfare and SC Welfare Department.
Musharraf Ali Farooqui, Chairman and Managing Director of Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL), has been transferred as Director of Medical, Health and Family Welfare. He will continue to hold additional responsibilities as Chairman and Managing Director of TGSPDCL. He will take over the health department assignment from Dr. S. Sangeetha Satyanarayana.
Jitesh V. Patil, who also holds additional charge as Chairman and Managing Director of TGSPDCL, has been assigned additional responsibilities as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TGREDCO).
The reshuffle covers several key administrative departments and urban bodies, with senior officers receiving new postings and additional responsibilities.
