Hyderabad Boy Death | Hyderabad, Nov.2: A five-year-old boy was found dead at his home in Shilpi Nagar under Borabanda police station limits. Police suspect his father, Vidyasagar, strangled him while drunk. Vidyasagar fled after police were informed, and a search is on for him.

According to the source, Vidyasagar and his wife Durga live in Borabanda with their five-year-old son. Durga works in catering, and Vidyasagar is reportedly addicted to alcohol. Police are said to suspect that he drank heavily on Sunday night and strangled the child.
Durga was reportedly away at her catering work at the time. She came home in the early hours, found her son dead and broke down in tears.

Neighbours informed Borabanda police, who reached the spot and examined the scene. They registered a case and began an investigation.
Vidyasagar fled the place after police were informed, it is learnt. Police have intensified their search for him.
