Infrastructure Development Need Of Hour: CM
National development is measured in terms of infrastructure development in a country and 70 years after independence, India is still considered a developing nation. Ever wondered why? Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao blamed successive governments of Congress and BJP for pushing development in India backwards due to their inability to rule the country.
“In 1968, GDP (gross domestic product) of India was 180 billion dollars against 134 billion dollars of China. By 2016, China’s GDP was 9,504 billion dollars and India’s GDP was 2,465 billion dollars. India’s GDP grew by only 13.69 times, while China’s GDP grew by 70.92 times. Isn’t it a failure of BJP and Congress governments at the Centre?” he wondered.
