It Is A Fight Between ‘Tolerance’ And ‘Intolerance’: Narayana
Hyderabad, Aug.19 (Maxim News): Defending the statements issued by CPI and CPM on the day the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpai was died, CPI national leader Dr K Narayana found fault with the criticism of ML groups against the statements made by CPI and CPM. He said that there was a difference between the ideology of CPI, CPM and ML groups.
He said that CPI and CPM believes in Legislative Houses whereas ML groups were not recognizing them and so that they criticized CPI and CPM’s statements on Vajpai’s demise. Reminding the days that the Communists performance in Legislative Houses, Narayana said that Vajpai was also performed well in and outside the Parliament and had continued in the party he believed with commitment. Narayana said that Vajpai condemned the massacre took place in Gujarat when Narendra Modi was Chief Minister of the state. Vajpai was also opined that the Babri Masjid demolition was an historical mistake. ML groups were finding fault with Vajpai for not initiating any action in the party against then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for massacre took place during latter’s regime, Narayana said and showing the synonyms to the incident saying that Narendra Modi did that act with the acceptance of Vajpai. Narayana said that CPI and CPM made statements on the demise of Vajpai with Indian sentiment only but the condolences not for to praise Vajpai.
He said that CPI leaders D Raja, Athul Kumar, Anjan and CPM leaders Seetharam Yechuri and Neelothpal Das and he (Narayana) paid tributes to Vajapai by going BJP office but shocked while knowing the news that some were attacked Swamy Agnivesh. “Even BJP believed culture also didn’t allow the attack when a person comes to our house though the person opposes our idealism”, he said and opined that the BJP’s fame could have improved if it welcomed the persons like Swamy Agnivesh instead of attack. He said that it was not proper to the BJP activists’ behavior at the time a person (Agnivesh) tried to pay tributes to a leader like Vajpai. “It was an insult to Vajpai and democratic system”, he opined and asked BJP cadre to think on the incident.
He asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who speaks volumes on tolerance, to make BJP cadre to practice tolerance. He alleged that Sangh Pariwar also tried to burn alive Gandhi University Professor, who posted comments against Vajpai in social media, after atrocious attack. Reminding Supreme Court’s condemnation on the atrocities of Gorakshaks, Narayana said that the police caught the miscreants, who tried to blast bombs in Mumbai before the Independence Day, under the aegis of Sanathan Samstha. The incident was made it clear that this Sanathan organization (Sangh Pariwar) only killed Dabolkar, Govind Pansare, Gouri Lankesh, Kulburgi. It was also proved in the police investigation, he said and described it saying that it was the war between ‘tolerance and intolerance’. The BJP was adopting the path of intolerance and democratic and secular forces were on the path of tolerance to wage fight against BJP, he exhorted. (Maxim News)
