Chandrababu Stalled HC Division: KTR
Hyderabad, Nov.21 (Maxim News): Wooing the advocates of the State with more sops and funds for their welfare, caretaker minister K T Rama Rao today accused TD Chief N Chandrababu Naidu of stalling High Court bifurcation for four years. Taking a dig at the Peoples Front of the Opposition for stalling growth, KTR ridiculed that the Congress has 40 leaders vying for chief minister post and will turn it a ‘musical chair.
Addressing a meeting called “Advocates for TRS” at Amberpet here, KT Rama Rao charged Chandrababu with deliberately preventing the High Court division. Despite being an ally with the NDA Regime at the Centre for four years, the TD Chief tried his best to stall the HC division and now snapped ties with the BJP Government, he said. “We have achieved the statehood with the support of all and advocates’ role was significant and now the TRS is a political party fighting another polls to seek mandate. The TRS MPs fought for the division of the High Court in Parliament for the cause of the two Telugu speaking States though Naidu spiked the efforts, he said. Naidu used all his sources and links against the High Court division as it will disclose his misdeeds and scams,” KTR said.
Now after TD snapping the deal with the NDA regime, the related file is on the move he said. I do hope that the high court division will be possible in next January after the polls. He appreciated the role of the advocates during statehood movement. KCR made uncompromised fight against Modi, RAhul Gandhi and others for protecting state interests he said. We will bring reforms in judiciary and set up fast track courts for providing legal help to the poor and take initiative for speeding up delivery system of justice, he said, adding that Telangana’s self-respect was being mortgaged by the Congress and the Telangana Jana Samithi for their political gains.
KTR also accused the Congress of dancing to the tunes of Chandrababu Naidu, who was deciding the tickets with the candidates’ list being approved from Amaravati, Rao said. “Unfortunately, if the Prajakutami comes to power, Government Orders will be issued from Amaravati. Taking a dig at TJS chief Kodandaram, KTR said Kodandaram was at the mercy of the Congress. There are 40 CM aspirants in the Congress and every month, one new CM will be appointed, if they come to power by mistake,” he said.
Appealing to the lawyers to expose the “opportunistic” politics of the Prajakutami and strive for the victory of the TRS in the State, KTR said Amberpet candidate of the TRS K Venkatesh, was opening the innings for TRS and let the party score a century as it did in the GHMC elections, he said.
