Telugu States Celebrates Maha Shivaratri
Hyderabad: Maha Shivaratri is a festival that is dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva on the Hindu month of Maagha or Phalguna.
The holy festival usually occurs in the month of February or March and is observed for one day and night only. Shiva is the lord of immortality and his name rejuvenates the mind, body and soul.
On this auspicious occasion, the devotees have been thronging to the various Shiva temples all across the two Telugu States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
