Talasani Pays Tributes To Ambedkar

Hyderabad, April 14 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today garlanded a statue of Dr B R Ambedkar near Tank Bund here and paid rich tributes to mark 128th birth anniversary.

The minister claimed that the State government was implementing several welfare schemes for development of Dalits, STs and Minorities as per the ideals of Ambedkar, who wrote country’s Constitution. “Our schemes are ideal at national level and several States were following suit”, he said. The states have to focus on uplift of downtrodden and welfare of deprived classes, he said. The minister said to achieve social and economic targets, the governments have to follow the framework of the constitutional procedures.

SC, ST Commission Chairman E Srinivas after garlanding the statue said Dr Ambedkar wrote Constitution paving way for developing Dalits and Tribals and other poor classes in the country. He asked them to work together to achieve Ambedkar ideals to serve the poor. The TRS government was following the ideology of Ambedkar and implementing several schemes of welfare, he said.
Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar, Home Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali, Praveen Kumar, SC Residential Schools secretary Bhukya SC corporation MD were among those who paid homage to Dr BR Ambedkar. (Maxim News)
