Azhar Blames GHMC, TRS Govt Got Felling Century-Old Mosque At Amberpet
Hyderabad, May 13 (Maxim News): TPCC working president Mohammad Azharuddin alleged that State government and GHMC were responsible for the demolition of 100-year old mosque at Amberpet. He also alleged that the GHMC officials did not even show respect to the age-old mosque before undertaking their illegal acts. He demanded that the State government take action against the officials responsible for the act.
Addressing mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan, the former captain of Indian cricket team also asked the GHMC on what basis it paid compensation meant for the mosque to outsiders despite the fact that it was a Waqf property. He demanded that the State government order a detailed inquiry into the issue.
Commenting on the post poll alliance between the Congress and the TRS parties, Azharuddin said the party high command would take a decision on the issue. He made it clear that the winds of change were blowing in favor of the Congress in the country. Targeting Prime Mnister Narendra Modi, Azharuddin alleged that the PM had targeted the family of Rahul Gandhi during his election campaigning rather than talking about the development works that he took up during the last five years. He also alleged that Narendra Modi, who promised to create two crore jobs for the unemployed youth in the country failed to talk about it in his election campaign. (Maxim News)
