Bhatti Objects To TRS Taking credit For Kaleswaram

Hyderabad, June 14 (Maxim News): Coming down heavily against the ruling TRS party for taking credit for the construction of the Kaleswaram irrigation project, former CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarkha asserted that the project had become a cash cow for the TRS leaders. He said the ruling party leaders have already spent Rs.50,000 crore on the project so far.

Speaking to mediapersons, Vikramarka said the initial cost of the project was just Rs 38,000 crore. He alleged that the ruling party leaders had escalated the estimation of the project to Rs 1 lakh crore in the name of the redesigning the irrigation project. He claimed that it would have cost Rs 38,000 crore to irrigate 1.14 lakh acres of land if the initial project plan was followed but added that the State Government had failed to irrigate even one acre of land so far even after spending Rs.50,000 crore.

He said the project would cost Rs 5,000 crore towards electricity cost every year. He alleged that the ruling party leaders were buying the Opposition party leaders as they were scared of being exposed on the issue of corruption. He also alleged that CM KCR had not even given the DPR of the project although he promised to do so.
Commenting on the extension of invitation to AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Vikramarka said his father YSR’s soul would be hurt if Jagan attended the inaugural event. He praised Jagan for urging the AP Assembly Speaker to disqualify any MLA, who defects to Opposition political parties. (Maxim News)
