Spanish Experts Meet MAUD Chief Aravind Kumar

Hyderabad, Aug.28 (Maxim News): Representatives of Industries Leblan, a Spanish multinational company specialized in the design, manufacture and installation of waste treatment plants, today met Municipal Administration Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar here today and expressed their willingness to work with the State government in setting up waste treatment plants in the state.

Director of Leblan Esteban Andrew, along with M C Musthafa, Head of sales and Marketing Asia, explained to the officials of the State government that they are leaders in their sectors of activity and they take up engineering, manufacture and assembly of plants such as urban solid waste, containers, non-hazardous industrial waste, composting, construction and demolition waste, out of use vehicles, gasification, biogas cleaning and leachate treatment. They also said they would not only provide technology but also do the hand holding which includes training of the locals.

Welcoming the delegation, Arvind Kumar asked them to visit the Jawaharnagar waste to energy treatment plant to have a first hand information about the process being implemented in Hyderabad. He also asked them to come out with a proposal to take up similar projects in other major cities such as Warangal and Karimnagar. Director Municipal Administation Dr T K Sridevi, GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar, Additional Commissioner Sruthi Ojha, GWMC Commissioner Ravikiran and other officials attended the meeting.
