TADJAC Chief To Go On Fast From Today

Hyderabad, Sept.14 (Maxim News): Telangana Auto Drivers JAC Convener Mohd Amanullah Khan today announced his decision to undertake fast-unto-death from September 15 at Bandlaguda area in an Auto garage opposite RTA office, South, demanding that AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy also grant Rs 10,000 to every Autorickshaw towards annual Insurance Charges and minor repairs.

In a pressnote here, Amanullah Khan demanded that the Telangana government also take steps to enforce prohibition in the State on the lines of Andhra Pradesh. He also demanded that the new penalty rates should not be implemented in Telangana State as it was done in West Bengal and some other States. The government should immediately take up road repairs on a war footing.

He also demanded that the government concede demands of the Auto Drivers like increase in auto fares on par with the other neighbouring States, give Rs 10,000, issue new auto permits and stop new auto black marketing business and stop harassment by private auto financiers and so on. (Maxim News)
