JAC Leaders’ Health Worsens, May Suffer Stroke, Warn OGH Doctors

Hyderabad, Nov.18 (Maxim News): TSRTC employees’ unions’ JAC convener Ashwathama Reddy and co-convener Raji Reddy, who were taken away from their homes by the police for fasting, were admitted to the Osmania General Hospital . But the unrelenting JAC leaders continued their hunger strike even in the hospital. The doctors on duty examined the two leaders and released a health bulletin on Monday. The doctors said the health condition of the leaders was deteriorated with BP and low sugar levels. They opined that the two leaders may suffer heart-attack any time if they continue their fasting.

Resident Medical Officer Dr Rafi said it will be dangerous if the fasting leaders refuse food at this time. He suggested to the union leaders to stop hunger strike and consume food immediately. (Maxim News)
