Priyanka Reddy’s Rape & Murder Unfortunate: Jeevan

Hyderabad, Nov.30 (Maxim News): Congress MLC T Jeevan Reddy today termed the murder of veterinary doctor Priyanka Reddy as unfortunate and said his party was condemning the heinous incident.

Targeting Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for his statement that they would enact a special law for protection of the women in the State, he asked the Chief Minister as to what happened to his promise. He also faulted the Home Minister for his statement that the victim should have called Dial 100.

He said the police ignored the complaint made by the parents of the victim and delayed investigation on the question of their jurisdiction. He said the people in the State want the culprits to be hanged. He said it was unfortunate that Chief Minister KCR did not react on the issue so far. (Maxim News)
