Govt Will Protect Rights Of Consumers–Minister
Hyderabad, Dec.24 (Maxim News): Civil Supplies Minister G Kamalakar today said that the state government will protect the rights of the consumers.
Participating in national consumers day program, the minister stated that rights of the consumers have to be protected. The previous consumers rights Act 1986 was replaced with 2019 Act. The new Act will offer to protect the rights of the consumers, he said.
Kamalakar directed the officials concerned to create awareness among people on the Act. See that the Violators of the act are punished seriously, he said.
He said that the forums help implementing the Act to do real justice. The government will take steps for the protection of the consumer rights. (Maxim News)
