Dokka Manikya Varaprasad Quits As MLC Against Three-Capitals Move

Amaravati, Jan.21 (Maxim News): TDP MLC Dokka Manikya Varaprasad resigned from his MLC post in protest against the decision of YSRCP government to form three capitals in State. He sent his resignation letter to party president Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking on the occasion, Dokka said he would also not contest in the direct elections in future. He said he could never forget the love and affection shown by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh on him. Varaprasad, who has been opposing formation of three capitals in the State did not attend the special Council session held on the issue of State capital. (Maxim News)
