President Inaugurates New Global HQs Of Ram Chanda Mission In RR Dist.

Hyderabad, Feb.2 (Maxim News): President Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday inaugurated the new global headquarters ‘Kanha Shanti Vanam’ of Ram Chandra Mission in Ranga Reddy district.

Addressing the gathering, who were involved in meditation training, the President said he was happy to see the place of sanctity covered in lush greenery.

Stating that India has great culture that wishes for peace, happiness and harmony in the entire world, Kovind said the Mission has its units in 150 nations that are serving people with spiritual and meditation programs and lakhs of people were learning in the meditation centers. He also said, “Our country is known across the world for its spiritual representatives such as — Buddha, Mahaveer, Guru Nanak, Kabir and Swamy Vivekananda.

The President asked people to practice meditation to be free from stress and crisis and get mental peace. Ramachandra Mission offers several services and people can get relief from regular routine, he said, adding that in a world full of anxieties, uncertainties, insecurities and hostilities, the responsibilities of organizations like Ram Chandra Mission have increased manifold. They can provide the reassuring touch of a healer.

The President said, “In order to change the direction of the humanity, we need to take on board larger number of young persons and engage them in the endeavors of building a better world. He expressed confidence that the global community of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission will contribute towards making the planet Earth a better place to live in and transforming humanity into a better community, full of positive energy and happiness.”

The President said meditation will relieve stress and give mental peace. “Our country is significant for its internal barrages like extending charity services and help others who need it,” he said. Kovind, who arrived in the city along with his wife Savitha Kovind on Saturday, visited Shanthi Vanam, the biggest meditation Centre here on Sunday.

Guruji Kamalesh Patel welcomed the country’s first couple, who participated in the 75th anniversary celebrations of Ramachandra Mission at Kanha village under Nandigama mandal of Ranga Reddy district on the city outskirts. He said those under stress cannot make a better life due to lack of peace.

Meditation practice will help one control his thoughts and emotions, he said. He also said Yoga and meditation will resolve many problems and its programs will offer great relief to people.

Governor of Telangana, Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan also participated in this spiritual program. (Maxim News)
