KCR Calls For Comprehensive Strategy To Make Agriculture Profitable

With Telangana emerging as the Rice Bowl of India, the State government will chalk out a comprehensive strategy to make farming a profitable venture by ensuring commensurate price for the bumper yield that the farmers in the State have produced.

Announcing this here on Tuesday, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao ordered creation of 40 lakh ton storage capacity godowns in addition to the existing 22. 5 lakh tons storage capacity created in the past five years.
