BJP Demands Govt A Judicial Inquiry On Corruption
Hyderabad, Aug.16 (Maxim News): Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) demanded the state government to order a judicial inquiry on the corruption being witnessed to illegally alienate government lands in the state by constituting a committee. It also said that it would meet the governor of the state on the issue of the corruption being witnessed in the state.
Speaking to media persons the former MLA NVSS Prabhakar said that the corruption had gone up in the state and added that the people of the state were forced to bribe officials even get their small works done. He said that the arrest of the officials of revenue department in Keesara mandal of Medchal Malkajgiri district by ACH was a classic example of the same .
Prabhakar said that the government lands were being encroached upon and added that some corrupt officials of the state were handing over the government lands to private parties after taking bribes. He alleged that the investigation in the cases filed by the ACH was also not going on properly. He also alleged that the officials of the CMO was also involved in the corrupt activities of the low level officials. He claimed that the transfers of Tehsildars were being made on the recommendations of the CMO officials. (Maxim News)
