Hyderabad, Nov.20 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and urged him to conduct all central examinations in regional languages.
In the letter KCR has stressed the need for offering equal opportunities to youth and students take examinations of the centre in their regional languages.Right now the Centre is conducting the examinations in English and Hindi only, he pointed out. This is denying a chance to people of other states to face the same he said. He urged the Modi government to take steps to ensure that regional languages are allowed for writing these examinations.The chief Minister has hoped that offering examinations in the regional languages will help them a lot. In another letter KCR has appealed to the President Ramnath Kovind to see that a memorial stamp is released on the former Prime Minister, PV Narsimha Rao. Telangana state is conducting centenary celebrations of PV Narsimha Rao as a tribute, he informed. The chief Minister has said that the centre is to bring out the postal stamp on PV Narsimha Rao to mark the occasion. KCR urged upon the President Kovind to release the memorial stamp in Hyderabad during his southern sojourn. It will be apt and a fitting tribute to PV Narsimha Rao if the stamp is released in Hyderabad, KCR said in the letter to the President. (Maxim News)
