Hyderabad, Jan.9 (Maxim News): Congress Party MP A. Revanth Reddy was arrested by city police today. The incident took place when the MP sat for a Dharna at Vasavi Nagar of LB assembly constituency protesting the inauguration of water tank in the area by state Minister for municipal administration and urban development KTR before the scheduled time. KTR came to the area before the Scheduled time of inauguration and inaugurated the tank along with local MLA D.Sudheer Reddy and left the place.
Revanth who came to the venue after the inauguration of the tank entered into argument with MLA Sudheer Reddy and officials and expressed anger at them. He later sat for a dharna in the area along with the congress party workers . Left with no option the police arrested the MP and shifted him to Pahadi Sharif police station. (Maxim News)
