The French President is seen heading towards a group of people gathered behind a metal barrier and chatting to one of them, who then slaps him on the left side of his face.
A person slapped French President Emmanuel Macron as he was mingling with a crowd in the Drome area of southern France. The French President is seen heading towards a group of people gathered behind a metal barrier and chatting to one of them, who then slaps him on the left side of his face.
Macron’s security agents stepped forward and escorted the President away. According to sources, two persons were detained as a result of the event. However, the identity of the individual who slapped the French President and his motives remained unclear.
