Andhra: Govt Launches Retail Parks Policy for 2020-26

Andhra: On Thursday, the Andhra Pradesh government released the ‘Retail Parks Policy. The government has agreed to issue a policy on Mega Retail Parks. It intends to attract new investments in the retail industry of Rs 5,000 crore by 2026. The government has been working on to form single desk portal for online clearance.

The state government plans to generate 50,000 direct job opportunities in the retail sector by 2026. The strategy would also promote skill development, provide job possibilities for all segments of society engaged in retail, and enhance the current unorganised retail industry.
