CM KCR to visit Nagarjuna Sagar on Monday

Hyderabad, Aug.1 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to make a visit to Nagarjuna Sagar and Suryapet district on Monday.

According to information the Chief Minister is to attend some development programs and to announce some sops to Surapet and Nalgonda districts. It is an important trip the chief minister will make after announcing another big welfare scheme for SC communities. He announced Dalit Bandhu to spend about Rs 80000 cr to Rs 1 lakh cr for Dalits empowerment in a phased manner.

Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy with local leaders made arrangements for the Chief Minister it is learnt. The Chief Minister is to attend some development programs and to address a public meeting. He may talk on the Dalit Bnadhu to be implemented in the state in a phased manner.

The state government is giving water to two crops and generated power at Nagarjuna Sagar, Pulichintala and Srisailam. Recently the government stalled the power generation as the AP Government opposed it and complained to the Centre and Krishna Board. The Krishna Board asked the Telangana Government to stop power generation and follow its norms. The government stopped power generation at the hydal projects and said that AP can generate power at Srisailam site.

The Chief Minister may ask the officials to conduct more corona tests and offer vaccination to the people. KCR is to claim that the Cabinet decided to waive off Rs 50000 crop loans to help the farmers. (Maxim News)
