CJI NV Ramana Expressed Dismay Over Functioning of Parliament
New Delhi: Chief Justice of India (CJI) NV Ramana expressed dismay over the functioning of Parliament and made strong comments on Sunday.
According to the reports, CJI NV Ramana criticized that focusing not on interruptions but cutting the corners when it comes to debates on the laws.
He asked the legal fraternity to contribute their time for public service.
He termed the present situation as a sorry state of affairs and added that there is no proper debate in the House.
NV Ramana further stated that there is no clarity of laws and don’t know what the purposes of the law is.
He added that it will happen when the lawyers and intellectuals are not in the houses.
