MLC Kavitha Lashes Out at D. Aravind

Hyderabad, May 4 (Maxim News): TRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha today lashed out at Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Aravind, accusing him of failing to fulfil his promise of bringing Turmeric Board to the district even after the latter has completed his three years term.

Addressing media persons here today, Kavitha said at the time of the Lok Sabha elections held in 2019, Dharmapuri Aravind had written in a bond paper promising that the Turmeric Board will be brought to the district once he is elected to Parliament. But, after being elected as MP, Dharmapuri Aravind didn’t take any initiative for the Turmeric Board and couldn’t speak at any platform on the subject.

“The BJP MP has mortgaged the interests of Turmeric farmers with Delhi bosses and deceived the people, who cast their precious vote believing that he will bring the Turmeric Board with the support of the Union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Aravind utterly failed in delivering his promise and he has no right to continue in the post of MP,” Kavitha alleged and added that the TRS party would question BJP MP Aravind on the Turmeric Board and would organise protest programs whenever he visits the district.

Responding to Congress working president Rahul Gandhi’s tour to Warangal district, MLC Kavitha alleged that Rahul Gandhi didn’t take part in a single debate in the Lok Sabha on the issues of Telangana and he was least bothered about the problems of Telangana. She questioned the credibility of Rahul Gandhi on the issues of Telangana and asked what he would speak to the people by visiting the Telangana State. (Maxim News)
