KCR turned Telangana into debt-ridden State: Vijayasanti

Hyderabad, May 24 (Maxim News): Former MP and BJP leader Vijayasanti today alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had turned Telangana State, which was a surplus State at its formation into a debt-ridden State. She said the State government was not in a position to go ahead if it did not get loans and added that there was no scope for the State government to get the loans from Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and added that RBI inclined to extend ₹8500 crore loan to only three States of the country while noting that the name of Telangana is not the list of the RBI.

Stating that Telangana government failed to take ₹3000 crores each loan in the months of April and May, she mocked that the State was still hoping to get the loans. She claimed that the monetary benefit to be given under Rythu Bandhu scheme is being delayed due to lack of money with the State government and added that the scheme required ₹7600 crores for its implementation ahead of Kharif season.

She said it was not possible for the State government to secure such a huge amount of money in the existing circumstances. Referring to the resignation of Srilankan Prime Minister Rajapaksa, she said Telangana would witness development only after resignation of KCR.

Taking a pot shot at State Industries Minister K Tarakarama Rao, she mocked that it had become very common for KTR to boasts about the State amid such a drastic conditions. She said the people in the State would soon teach a lesson to KCR. (Maxim News)
