Hyderabad, June 20: Chamber of Event Industry TCEI’s investiture Ceremony 2022 held in the city at Dr. MCR HRD Institute of Telangana (MCHRD), Jubilee Hills on Monday evening.

Addressing the gathering in his acceptance speech newly sworn-in President of TCEI, Balaram Babu Alla said together we will make TCEI nationally and globally reckoning professional body in the event industry.

A panel would be constituted to reform the body and its verticals to suit to the demanding needs of the fraternity.

We will pursue the matter with Government of Telangana to grand land for Event City which the Event Industry intended to build in the outskirts of the city. So that it would be a model habitat for the events. We sought the land for the same from the Government. We made requested to Mr KT Rama Rao, who launched our body in the year 2014 to that effect. Now time has come to pursue the matter and take it forward he stated.

He also assured that together with members in the fraternity and their support he would also pursue and put up a club house for the members in the event industry in the city.

We will also constitute a panel to finalise Dr Neeraj Thakur Centre for Excellence which will be affiliated to JNTU.

We will revive, reform and rise. And we will make it an association to reckon in India.

‘During the pandemic the industry has gone through its worst phase and it is slowly limping back to pre-pandemic days and very soon it will regain the past glory’ added the newly elected General Secretary of TCEI Mr. Ravi Bura. He also said that ‘they will be starting shortly basic courses in Event Management in collaboration with NITHM at their Gachibowli campus.

The other leaders invested include Ramesh Mupanna – Impulse Events & Trade Fairs Pvt Ltd; Dharampal Singh – Namdhari Group;

Shivani Sen – Anchor and MC as Vice Presidents.

Ravi Kumar Bura of Goldline Events & Promotions was invested as the General Secretary.

Venkateshwar Akulapally of Avens Expositions P Ltd was invested as Joint Secretary; Toufiq Md Khan of NM Company as Treasurer.

Md Moiuddin – Grand Facilitators & Suppliers; Amit Agarwal – Sushma Florists; Swetha Neeraj Thakur – Expresso Hospitality; Anup Rao – ALKR Marketing Pvt Ltd; Farha Kudari – Pink Pagdi Wedding Planners and Ravi Nair – Splash Events P Ltd as EC Members.

Earlier the event industry felicitated Dr Chinnam Reddy, Mr Ashok Ramkumar, Vishala Reddy and D. Ramchandram, the Chief Election Commissioner and Commissioners who successfully completed one month long election process for the TCEI and seven of its verticals.

Telangana Chamber of Events Industry (TCEI), a not-for-profit organization industry body of Events & Entertainment business has successfully completed 8 years. It is first of its kind industry body of Events & Entertainment business in the country that covers all the stakeholders in the industry.

The Chamber has under its fold 7 Associations viz., Telangana Event Managers Association (TEMA), Telangana Sound Light Video Association (TSLVA), and Telangana Facilitators Association (TFA), Telangana Event Caterers Association (TECA), Telangana Event Venues Association (TEVA), Telangana Entertainers Association (TEA) and Telangana Event LED Vendors Association (TELVA).

TCEI has 300+ members in all the above verticals
