GHMC Commissioner penalizes negligent engineers

Hyderabad, June 28 (Maxim News): Hyderabad GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar on Tuesday expressed his displeasure at the functioning of the engineering officials for not honoring his instructions to them to take precautionary measures on the repairs of the dangerous nalas in the city.

During his surprise inspection of nalas, the Commissioner found the criminal negligence and malfunctioning of the engineers and ordered a day’s cut in the salaries of 38 engineers. Taking serious exception to the negligence of the engineering officials, Lokesh Kumar warned that criminal cases would be filed against the erring engineers. He also warned the engineering officials that he would initiate severe action against erring engineers in the future without serving any notice. (Maxim News)
