Assigned lands encroached by Etela Rajender handed over to farmers

Hyderabad, June 29 (Maxim News): The assigned lands allegedly encroached by Jamuna Hatcheries belonged to BJP MLA Etela Rajendar, were distributed to farmers of Atchampet and Hakimpet villages in Masaipet Mandal of Medak district on Wednesday.

The revenue authorities have started the process of handing over the assigned lands to farmers in the presence of Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, Narasapur MLA C Madan Reddy, and other elected representatives.

According to officials, the revenue department had so far identified 85.19 acres of assigned land encroached by Jamuna Hatcheries in survey numbers 77, 78,79, 80, 81, 82,130 of Achampet village and survey No.97 of Hakimpet village. After conducting the inquiry, the department took the position of 85 acres of land and the same has been handed over to 65 farmers.

Speaking on the occasion, MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy assured that all farmers whose lands were encroached upon by the Jamuna Hatcheries owned by Huzurabad MLA Etela Rajendar would get justice and said that the position issue of some land was pending with the court. The decision will be taken based on the court verdict, the MP added. (Maxim News)
