Modi is India’s “weakest and inefficient Prime Minister”: CM KCR

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao called Narendra Modi the “weakest and inefficient Prime Minister” India has ever had, claiming that the former was accountable to the people of the country on all issues, from rising fuel prices to multiple scams and hate crimes.

He had chastised the Prime Minister for failing to control the’record breaking’ fall in the value of the Indian rupee against the US dollar in the country’s history.

During a press conference convened by Chandrashekhar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan on Sunday evening, an old video clip of Narendra Modi was played, in which Modi gave a fiery speech about the depreciating value of the rupee, blaming it on the then UPA government and demanding answers.

“The rupee is on its way to Rs 80.” Why are you not responding to us? “We’re both asking the same questions,” he insisted. The Chief Minister, like Modi, wanted to know why the currencies of Nepal, Bangladesh, and even crisis-hit Sri Lanka were falling as precipitously as the Rupee value under the Modi regime.

He warned that Pakistan was not a threat to India, and that the real threat came from China. He stated, citing retired officers from the armed forces, that the Centre cannot implement the Agnipath scheme as a laboratory experiment while the threat at the Indo-China border looms large.

The Chief Minister compared the BJP to a blood-sucking leech, describing it as the most inefficient, inactive, and senseless government. According to him, the BJP government has failed miserably on all fronts. Except for Telangana, where the TRS was successful, no other state was able to obtain quality power, drinking, and irrigation water under the BJP administration. “There is a power and water crisis even in the national capital, where this Mighty government sits.” “It’s a disgrace,” he said.

He described the recent BJP national executive meeting in Hyderabad as a “cacophony,” claiming that the Prime Minister was unable to speak about his government’s achievements over the last eight years or the party’s plans for the country’s future. “The Prime Minister or other BJP leaders have accomplished nothing to take credit for in the last eight years of BJP rule.” “While no one could understand what the Prime Minister was trying to convey to the people, the union Ministers who spoke earlier only criticised the Chief Minister,” he said. He stated that neither the Prime Minister nor the Union Ministers dared to answer his previous questions on various issues of national importance.

On the occasion, Chandrashekhar Rao stated that the BJP government had only a year and a half left in office, after which a non-BJP government would take over and reverse the BJP government’s anti-national policies. He reiterated that he had no personal vendetta against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was only opposing his policies. During his remaining tenure, he advised Modi to abandon dirty politics and focus on national development. “You have the option of interfering or not interfering in our affairs.” “However, we will continue to intervene in your affairs because your policies are detrimental to the national interest,” he declared.

In response to questions, the Chief Minister stated that the BJP cannot threaten him with any cases because he has nothing to hide and has not engaged in any criminal activity. If the BJP abuses government agencies or files false cases, he has vowed to fight them in court because he has complete faith in the judiciary. He mocked the BJP’s ‘Parivaarvaad’ argument and asked if there was no dynasty politics in the BJP. “The family name may be advantageous, but one cannot survive in politics without the blessings of the people,” he reminded. In response to another question, he stated that he was unconcerned if some disgruntled TRS leaders defected to the BJP because the people of Telangana supported him.
