Kishan Reddy Apprises Amit Shah of Godavari Flood Fury in Telangana

Hyderabad, July 18 (Maxim News): Union minister for tourism & culture G. Kishan Reddy today called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah and apprised him of the recent floods in Telangana. He also urged the Union Home Minister to extend financial help to the State.

Responding to the request of Kishan Reddy, Amit Shah asked the officials of his ministry to take steps to extend help to the Telangana State. Shah told Kishan Reddy that they have already sent 13 NDRF teams to the State after the floods ravaged the State. He also told Kishan Reddy that the State government had not submitted any documents for the release of SDRF funds. He said they would take steps for extending the financial aid to the State after receiving the requisite documents from the State government.(Maxim News)
