Chilkalguda police nab cat burglar, recover Rs 40,000
Hyderabad, Sept.19 (NSS): The Chilkalguda police today nabbed a house burglar Mohammed Kareem alias Abdul Kareem of Habeeb Fathima Nagar, Borabanda, at Emergency ward of Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad and seized Rs 40,000 from his possession. The police registered a case in Cr. No. 711/2022 U/s 380 IPC of PS Chilkalguda, Hyderabad.
On Sunday evening, the police received a complaint from one Macha Ramulu, Auto driver of Muthureddy Gudem village in Bhongir Mandal of Yadadri district stating that on Saturday his son Praveen Kumar was admitted in Gandhi hospital for treatment. In the night, the complainant gave his sister Manga Rs 90,000 and slept outside. Next morning, the complainant woke up and checked the cash bag where he found one bundle of 40,000 was missing. Immediately, he enquired with all the patient attendants and staff, but in vain. Then he lodged a complaint with Chilkalguda police to take necessary action.
The arrest was made under the supervision of N. Sudhir, ACP, Gopalapuram, by G. Naresh, SHO, K. Nageswara Rao, DI and N. Sai Krishna, SI, along with Crime Staff of Chilkalguda Police Station. (NSS)
