MOU signed between ASCI and TSREDCO
The Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad and Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation Ltd., (TSREDCO), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday 26 Oct 2022 to collaborate in implementation of all the Energy Conservation activities/programmes undertaken/suggested/developed by Telangana State’s objective on Sustainable Energy transition.
The areas of collaboration:
Implementation of Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation Projects in the state developed/suggested/identified by TSREDCO to regulate and enforce the provisions of the Energy Conservation Act 2001by conducting Capacity building programmes/Awareness Programmes/workshops/ Training Programmes related to Energy Conservation, Roundtable meetings on energy conservation and Evaluation & Organizing of Energy Conservation Award Programme.
Handholding support to TSREDCO in developing Energy Conservation Annual Action plans etc.
The MoU is valid for five (05) years and may be extended per mutually agreed terms and conditions.
Dr Nirmalya Bagchi, Director General (i/c), ASCI, and Sri N Janaiah, VC & MD of TSREDCO, signed the MoU in the presence of Dr Valli Manickam, Professor, Dean of Training Programs & Director, Centre for Innovation and Technology, ASCI, Prof Rajkiran Bilolikar, Centre for Energy Studies, ASCI, Sri Srinvasulu, DGM, TSREDCO and other officials from ASCI &TSREDCO.
