MANUU organizes ‘Azad Walk’ on Education Day Eve

Hyderabad, Nov 10: Maulana Azad National Urdu University, has organized ‘Azad Walk’ at the campus today as part of the ongoing Azad Day Celebrations in the run up to National Education Day on 11th November.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan flagged off the Walk from Open Air Theatre at 4.00 pm. Large number of Students, teachers and employees participated in the Walk which ended at Main Gate of MANUU Campus. Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, Prof. Siddiqui Mohd. Mahmood, OSD II also graced the occasion.

During the walk, Drama Club students presented Nukkad Natak on the topic “Mental Health” with the name “Soonch ke Dekho” directed by Dr. Adnan Bismillah.

Prof. Mohammad Fariyad, Head, Department of MCJ & PRO I/c spoke about the importance of the event. Mr. Meraj Ahmad, Assistant Professor, Department of MCJ was the coordinator of the Azad Walk. Prof. Alim Ashraf Jaisi, Dr. Ameena Tahseen were also present.
