Medical Seats Quota Sold In Black By Malla Reddy Medical College ?

Hyderabad, Nov 22 (Maxim News) As the IT raids are in progress in the houses and establishment of the Minister for labour, ch. Malla Reddy, today, as part of it, the IT officials has conducted the searches at the Mallareddy Medical College

According to the sources, it was found that the medical seats which were allotted to the Mallareddy medical College under various categories including of the Convenor quota, were sold to private individuals. There are allegations that the Mallareddy management has sold the convenor quota seats to private individuals for crores, there are huge differences in medical college transactions. In this order, IT is examining the bank transactions of all four Mallareddy medical Colleges. said the source.

According to the sources, about 150 to 170 officers were believed to be participating in the simultaneous searches, they were checking income records of the institutions run by Malla Reddy Group following allegations of tax evasion.

It may be recalled that Malla Reddy Group runs a number of educational institutions including a medical college, dental college, a hospital and an engineering college. The IT teams were also carrying out searches at the offices and residences of the top officials of the institutions. (Maxim News)
