CM KCR Inspected YTPP Construction Works
Nalgonda/Hyderabad, Nov 28 (Maxim News) Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao visited Yadadri Ultra mega Thermal Power Plant (YTPP) and inspected the works of this power plant through an aerial view along with the Minister for energy Jagadish Reddy and senior officers of the department.
The officials explained the details of the construction works to the Chief Minister, the Chief Minister has seen the construction of the boiler in the first stage unit-2 which is at a height of 82 meters in the review meeting, the authorities have been .advised to complete the construction of Yadadri Power Plant and start generating electricity by the end of December, 2023, he asked the GENCO to give light to the state.
The works of this power plant started in 2015 with the estimated cost of Rs. 29,965 crore Central funds under the AP Reorganisation Act, already the works of two units of the plant are 90 percent complete. The remaining three units are upto 70 per cent, 5 power plants are being constructed on 5 thousand acres with a power generation capacity of 4.000 megawatts.
Along with the Chief Minister, State legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy, Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Chief Secretary somesh Kumar, CM Office Secretary Smita Sabharwal, GENCO CMD prabhakar Rao, , MPs, MLAs, MLCs, Zilla Parishad Chairman and others were present. (Maxim News)
