Hyderabad: A 20-year-old man allegedly hanged himself to a tree in Jubilee Hills on Wednesday morning.
According to the police, B Ashok, 20, a resident of Karmikanagar in Jubilee Hills police station limits, was staying along with his brother after the death of their parents a few months ago.
On Wednesday morning, his body was found hanging to a tree in an open plot located near his house by local people, who informed the police. The police shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
“Family members say Ashok was depressed after the death of his parents and had got addicted to liquor. On Wednesday morning, he was found hanging and the family suspect that he might have slipped into depression and ended his life,” said B Mansingh, Sub-inspector, Banjara Hills. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
