A Special Treat for Special Children: ‘Taare Zameen Par’ painting competition held for differently-abled and physically challenged

Hyderabad: Round Table India, Ladies Circle India conducted a painting competition for the Free-spirited Children at three different places in the city on Monday. The location three locations include 1. National Institute for the Empowerment of person with intellectual Disabilities, Bowenpally; 2. Child Guidance Center- Special School- Uppal and 3. Vidyanjali High School- Ameerpet

The Round Table India is an Indian arm of international organization spread all over the world. ‘Taare Zameen Par’ is a unique painting competition organized for differently-abled and physically challenged children for many years continuously.

Taare Zamen Par is a National Initiative of Round Table India where Painting and sketch competition will be organised for the differently-abled Children to help children unravel their hidden Skills. This competition is being organized across the Country.

300 Students across age groups participated in the event. The children showcased a colorful side of their personalities

A magic show, tattoo artist and balloon twister etc entertained the participants. Participation Certificated where provided to all the kids who have submitted drawings.

The best three painters across the age group were given away prizes.

Area 9 Chairman, Round Table India Chaitanya Dev Singh and Area 9 Chairperson Ladies Circle India Sonal doshi with Tare Zameen Par Convenor Piyush Jhawar with members of Round Table India and Ladies Circle India graced the event.

Children were treated with lunch and goodies boxes at the end of the event.

For the world, these kids are differently gifted. We feel they are definitely gifted. These kids dwell in a beautiful world of their own. Devoid of number crunching pressures, no deadlines… Just the pleasure of enjoying the moment. No ghosts of the past as memories the organizers stated. (Maxim News)
