Aamir Khan plans to keep ‘Mahabharat’ film more authentic
After Bahubali director SS Rajamouli confessed to having met Aamir Khan to discuss the cinematic adaptation of the Mahabharat, sources say the actor intends to conduct extensive research to make certain that the characters are appropriately depicted.
Although in a nascent stage, the film will be backed by extensive study. Aamir’s team will begin researching for the script soon. With religious sentiments involved, the two don’t want anything to go wrong.
Adapting the Indian mythology has always been a dream for Mr Perfectionist. When he heard Rajamouli has something similar in mind, Aamir connected with him and a hush-hush meeting apparently took place in Mumbai a week after the release of Bahubali: The Conclusion. Mahabharat will be made on a big budget and it is said that Aamir’s production house and another bigwig will back Rajamouli’s next lavish cinematic outing.
